Veterinarians:

We are so happy to have these great vets with us.

  • Dr. Jay Jakubowsli

    Dr. Jay Jakubowski, DVM

Jay Jakubowski, DVM has been the director of the Village Veterinary Clinic since 1982. This means he is an “old man” compared to everyone else that works at the clinic. His hound dog – da Vinci- keeps him “younger”. She came from a shelter and was adopted by Dr. Jay since she has a medical issue of urinary incontinence that clearly made her less adoptable to others. His plans for the future, at the present, are to work until he is an even older man.

  • Suzanna Ahmed

    Suzanne Ahmad, DVM

Suzanne Ahmad, DVM has been a Veterinarian in the New England area since 1999 and at Village Veterinary Clinic since 2004. She enjoys working with dogs and cats of all sizes, attitudes, and stages of health. She believes that is important for clients to understand not only what we are doing but why as they are an integral part of the process. Dr. Ahmad lives with several cats including one with the unofficial local record number of toes.

  • Dr. Naomi Auerbach

    Naomi Auerbach, DVM

Naomi Auerbach, DVM has been with Village Veterinary Clinic since 2009. Before joining the team she worked as an emergency veterinarian in a large referral hospital north of Boston and then in a private practice in Manhattan. Since moving back to the Boston area she enjoys taking care of her patients with a special interest in surgery, management of older animals with chronic and multiple conditions and still gets excited about the emergencies that come in. Outside of work Naomi enjoys hiking, running and yoga and spends most of her time with her family and their awesome dog Lilah.
